Wealth Upliftment
Digitalization, automation, and globalisation are rapidly and dramatically altering labour markets. Re-training and up-skilling are becoming increasingly vital as the need for highly qualified workers grows. In India, over 40% of young people hold a higher education degree, and this number is expected to rise, as is the university's role in offering lifelong learning.
Only by drastically altering our production and consumption patterns will we be able to achieve sustainable development. Collaborative efforts are required to generate innovative solutions. In this approach, the university collaborates with businesses, other educational institutions, and local stakeholders, frequently assisting business creation through start-ups through Chandigarh University's Technology Business Center (TBI). As a result, higher education is an important facilitator of open innovation. University also provides worldwide ties and pipelines through TBI in order to feed local innovation ecosystems and achieve long-term growth.
