Various activities organized by the Department of Mathematics, University Institute of Sciences to foster the beyond academic temperaments of students are:
School students from all over Punjab exhibited their Mathematical skills during the National Mathematics Day celebrated at Chandigarh University. Dr. Madhu Raka, Department of Mathematics, Punjab University who marked her presence as the Guest of Honor appreciated the students for their hard work and awarded marks to the projects made by students. Students with the maximum marks were awarded by the guests and all the students were encouraged to keep studying well so that they can have a bright future.
