Chandigarh University offers a perfect blend of Intra/Inter/Extra Curricula Activities to enhance the interaction and bonding among the students. The students of 1 SEM of batch 2015 visited the Aerodrome Pinjore, Haryanaon. Total Student strength was 30 students. The students got the exposure about the flying and maintenance activities at Aerodrome.

Students had also interacted with senior flying instructors and had seen the different training aircrafts including Cessana 172. This visit was very inspiring and appreciated for Aerospace Students as they experienced actual working environment of diverse maintenance activities.
Aerospace students visited air force station Chandigarh 12 wing. They visited ATC (Air Traffic Control) they were briefed about ATC functions. They were demonstrated about the RT conversation for take-off and landing of the aircraft.

They were taken to IL76 heavy transport aircraft and were demonstrated the hydraulic system operations like opening and closing of doors in flight. They also visited MI26 helicopter and got detailed introduction about the cockpit instrument and various aircraft systems. The visit proved to be very fruitful for practical visualization of aircraft and aircraft systems.

From the acquisition of 110 multi-role fighter jets and 111 naval utility helicopters to the indigenous development of the light combat helicopter, India’s aerospace sector has crossed an inflection point.
The students have learned many advanced techniques and as well as interacted with many top international leading aerospace companies like Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, HAL, NAL, ISRO, etc.
