Department of Physiotherapy involves its students in various interactive sessions, hands-on practices, industrial visits, and other related activities to give them industry familiarity.
The department has signed MOUs with number of health institutions in the surrounding regions like Grecian Hospital, Mayo Hospital, Giansagar Hospital, Max Hospital, etc. where the students can go for their trainings and learn how to treat the patients in different hospital settings and departments.

Dr. Simranjeet Kaur is Director of Sukhija Physiotherapy Clinic and certified instructor of Women’s Health Physiotherapy. The session started with providing insights on women’s health, how it effects and ruled out the probable causes. She also demonstrated certain management strategies which can be applied by a physiotherapist assessing and treating patients having gynaecological problems. Expert pointed out certain strategies to be applied as a physiotherapist in women’s health problems.

The visit included a comprehensive tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, where the students observed firsthand the advanced equipment and techniques used in the rehabilitation of paraplegic patients. Harveer Singh sir who is currently a certified massage therapist who has done a 3 year massage therapy course from Canada. He provided valuable insight on the working as a good physiotherapist later on followed by the correct procedure of massage therapy. He provided a depth knowledge on the concepts regarding the techniques which should be implemented during the time of treating patients. He demonstrated the correct methods which should be implemented providing massage therapy to the patients. Also latest trends in Massage therapeutic techniques was demonstrated to the students.
